I teach classes in Creative Writing and Literature, including:
An Introduction to Creative Writing (1-4)
Try your hand at different forms of writing – short stories, novels, poetry and drama – in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. These classes are suitable for writers of all levels, but nervous beginners are especially welcome.

This ten-week course explores the major themes of poetry: love, nature, war, humor and mortality. No previous knowledge of poetry is required, although you’re welcome to nominate your favorite poems for class discussion.
The Garnethill Writers’ Group
A writers’ support group, which meets once a month to give feedback, support and encouragement to authors finding it hard to go it alone. The group is very friendly and informal, and is open to anyone.
The group meets at Garnethill Multicultural Centre, 21 Rose Street in central Glasgow, G3 6RE (opposite the Glasgow Film Theatre).
Meetings are usually held on the third Monday of each month, 1.00 – 4.00 pm. The next meetings are:
- 21 January 2019
- 18 February 2019
- 18 March 2019
- The cost is £10 per session. There’s no obligation to sign up for any later sessions – just come along and see what you think. You’re welcome to sit in on an initial meeting free of charge.
Please contact me for further details.
