Creative Writing at Glasgow University: Open Studies
Two of my Creative Writing classes are starting in January. Both are suitable for writers of all levels; old hands and nervous beginners are equally welcome.
Introduction to Creative Writing 2 (Thursdays from 19 January 2017 13.00-15.00, St Andrews Building)
– An introduction to different forms of writing: novels, short stories, poetry and drama. No previous experience is necessary.
Creative Writing: Perspectives (Wednesdays from 18th January 2017, 13.00 – 15.00, Kelvinhall)
– Encourages students to experiment with different voices and narrative techniques, including writing in the first person, using the present tense and writing for young adults.
