For Schools: Help with Writing Portfolios

Book launch signingTeachers are often unsure how to tutor their pupils in creative writing; this is where I can help. I provide sessions especially designed for pupils sitting National 5, Higher or Advanced Higher English. These workshops and seminars assist students in developing their short stories, poems and other creative pieces. I focus on helping each student cultivate their own unique voice, while still paying attention to the special requirements of each genre and being aware of the importance of editing.

I can also offer similar sessions on creative non-fiction, to help with discursive or reflective portfolio writing.

Please contact me for more details. If you have Live Literature funding, my Scottish Book Trust page is here.
