This informal online course looks at the works of ten of the most popular poets in the English language. We will read a selection of verse by each poet, along with comparative poems by one or two of their contemporaries. No previous knowledge of poetry is required, although students can nominate their own favourite poets for study.
Poets include: 
- Alfred, Lord Tennyson
- Christina Rossetti
- WB Yeats
- TS Eliot
- Carol Ann Duffy
